At the end of 2022, Aptera finalized the design for their Delta vehicle, which is the result of continuous improvements made throughout the Alpha, Beta, and Gamma development phases. This design will be used for the Launch Edition of the Aptera, which will be the first and most exclusive vehicles produced by the company. To streamline production and align with their focus on simplicity and efficiency, the Launch Edition vehicles will have a single configuration.
On January 20, 2023, Aptera will showcase their production-intent design and announce the specifications and capabilities of the Launch Edition in a YouTube webinar. During the webinar, they will also discuss the core technologies that will make solar electric transportation a reality and their plans to make solar mobility accessible to everyone. Many are looking forward to this event, as it will provide more information about the Launch Edition and bring pre-orders closer to becoming a reality.
